Welcome to Kent Workplace Mission

Kent Workplace Mission (KWM) is an ecumenical organisation set up as a charitable trust. Its principal purpose is to coordinate, with local churches, provision of chaplaincy services to public and private organisations and their employees.

Kent Workplace Mission is a Registered Charity and Local Ecumenical Partnership.

KWM coordinates and promotes the Churches' engagement with the workplace economy in partnership with various Christian denominations and local churches in Kent and Medway and the London Boroughs of Bexley and Bromley.

KWM coordinates the work of workplace chaplains , presently some 90 persons from local churches and volunteer lay and clergy across the county. We are presently developing a strategy of locally coordinated groups of workplace chaplains, while the two parther chaplains attched to KWM facilitate and promote the mission alongside their focussed chaplaincy arrangements.

KWM provides support and leadership to individual chaplains by organising training events, publishing newsletters and arranging conferences and networking events for them.
